About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with expertise in JavaScript and Cypress to join our Unified Communication domain team. The individual will play a pivotal role in designing and imple-menting robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality delivery across UI and API layers. This role de-mands a strong understanding of DevOps practices, cloud services, and microservices testing, contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript and Cypress.
• Implement BDD/Cucumber frameworks for behaviour-driven testing.
• Design and execute RESTful API and UI automation test cases.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
• Utilise DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for test environment setup.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments.
• Conduct microservices and Kafka-Bus testing to validate distributed systems.
• Manage test cases and execution using test management tools.
• Apply basic networking knowledge to support test scenarios.
• Leverage AWS services including S3, SES, EC2, IAM, and Lambda for cloud-based testing.

What Skills You Need

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Cypress Automation Framework.
• Experience with BDD/Cucumber scripting.
• Hands-on expertise in DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/Jenkins.
• Expertise in RESTful API and UI automation
• Strong understanding of CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with GIT repositories and version control.
• Knowledge of AWS services: S3, SES, EC2, IAM, Lambda.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Exposure to Kafka-Bus and microservice testing.
• Solid background in software testing and test management.
• Experience in the Unified Communication domain.
