Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior PHP Professional
to design, develop, and troubleshoot high-performance, high-availability applications. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills. You will focus on writing clean, well-documented code with automated unit tests, while mentoring junior developers, ensuring best practices, and contributing to the company's strategic goals. The position reports to the Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical requirements and design components to meet performance and availability needs.
  • Lead development efforts and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality through best practices and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects on planning, design, and maintenance.
  • Develop and optimize integrations between applications.
  • Act as Scrum Master, ensuring agile processes are followed.
  • Identify areas for improvement and encourage continuous learning within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years
    of hands-on development experience with PHP, including SaaS web-based applications.
  • Strong expertise in
    PHP frameworks
    (Laravel required; Slim or Symfony preferred).
  • Frontend skills:
    Angular, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
    .
  • Database expertise with
    MySQL
    .
  • Strong
    Object-Oriented Design, MVC, and Design Patterns
    knowledge.
  • Experience with
    Linux environments
    .
  • Familiarity with
    distributed version control (Git)
    .
  • Proficiency in
    JSON
    and data interchange formats.
  • Ability to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Hands-on experience with
    unit test automation frameworks
    .
  • Experience guiding teams, performing code reviews, and estimating user stories.
  • Excellent
    problem-solving, communication, and collaboration
    skills.
  • Exposure to
    Microservices Architecture
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AWS
    cloud environment (bonus).
  • Willingness to learn and work with other languages (Python, .NET, Java).
  • Nice to have:
