Job Title: Senior Consultant (.Net)

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, document, and implement web-based and console applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, and other related technologies. The role involves system analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement web-based and console applications using .NET technologies.
  • Maintain and optimize existing applications, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Prepare and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Identify areas for system modifications and improvements.
  • Manage defect tracking systems, resolve issues, and implement necessary updates.
  • Research and adopt new technologies to enhance system capabilities.
  • Create and maintain technical specifications and test plans.
  • Monitor system activities and provide necessary support to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in IT and web development.
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, and Console Application development.
  • Proficiency in XML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with SSRS and SSIS is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills in English.

Good to Have / Advantageous Skills:

  • Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or for front-end development.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or data science frameworks like Python, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
  • Exposure to performance tuning and application security best practices.
