Job Description – Senior Garment Merchandiser

Position: Senior Garment Merchandiser

Department: Merchandising

Location: Malappuram, Thiruvali

Job Summary

The Senior Garment Merchandiser is responsible for managing the complete merchandising process-from product development to order execution. The role ensures timely sampling, production follow-up, vendor coordination, and on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for assigned styles and orders.
  • Communicate with buyers, suppliers, and production teams regarding requirements, samples, and approvals.
  • Coordinate product development, costing, and sample submission.
  • Follow up with production, fabric, and trim teams to ensure timelines are met.
  • Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate order sheets, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure product quality standards and buyer specifications are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Degree/Diploma in Fashion, Textile, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in garment merchandising (preferably in kidswear or apparel).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and planning skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
