What does a successful AI/ML-Data Science Engineer do?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive our AI Ops initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and support the deployment of AI solutions across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize AI operations and enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance and improve operational processes.
  • Monitor and maintain AI models in production, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and data science to drive innovation within the organization.

What you will need to have:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
