Technical Product Owner

Job Summary :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Owner to drive the development of our technical products. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that product vision and technical requirements are clearly defined and executed. You will be responsible for prioritizing the product backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring that the development team delivers high-quality, impactful products.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful product ownership. Responsibilities :Product Vision and Strategy :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
• Define and communicate the product's value proposition and key features.

Product Backlog Management :

• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder feedback.
• Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Ensure that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by the development team.
• Manage dependencies and resolve conflicts.

Sprint Planning and Execution :

• Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide clarification on user stories and requirements.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that they understand the product vision and goals.
• Review and accept completed user stories and deliverables.
• Monitor sprint progress and address any roadblocks or impediments.

Stakeholder Communication :

• Communicate product updates, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve the product.
• Conduct product demos and presentations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Technical Expertise :

• Understand the technical aspects of the product and its architecture.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure alignment between product requirements and technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Product Performance and Analysis :

• Define and track key product metrics and KPIs.
• Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions.

Agile Process Improvement :

• Promote and enforce Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for product development.

Qualifications :Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience :

• 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Proven experience in managing technical products.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with development teams.

Technical Skills :

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and platforms.
• Experience with product management tools (e.g, Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of database management and system architecture.
