What You'll Do

The Finance and Procurement Product Portfolio plays a critical role at the intersection of BCG's Global Finance and IT functions. Its purpose is to deliver best-in-class financial systems that enable the organization to transact efficiently and responsibly, capture, enrich, and report core financial data to BCG's business leaders, and comply with the complex fiscal requirements of a multinational organization. The portfolio also ensures that its platforms provide exceptional user experience, aligns with BCG's global IT enterprise architecture and security standards, and minimizes the total cost of operations. It embraces the latest technologies and Agile ways of working to enhance financial systems and deliver business value at scale.

BCG's global finance function is undergoing a major transformation, with technology serving as a core enabler. A key part of this transformation is the deployment of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as the firm's global ERP platform. This new platform creates exciting leadership opportunities, including the SAP Product Lead role. In this role, you will define and drive the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the SAP platform, ensuring that the solution evolves to meet business needs while maintaining stability, data integrity, and user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and dependencies. You will also serve as the final decision-maker for changes to the SAP global template and ensure that the platform's direction remains aligned with the broader portfolio vision.

To deliver results, you will lead four SAP squads and manage key vendor relationships that support the platform. You will act as an integrator across squads, ensuring consistency and coordination of initiatives and enhancements. Working closely with Product Owners, you will help shape business cases for investment to support the continuous enhancement of the platform. You will be accountable for business outcomes and KPI delivery as BCG continues to expand its use of the SAP platform globally.

Among Your Responsibilities, You Will
Provide Strategic and Functional Leadership

• Translate business strategy and finance priorities into a cohesive, actionable vision for the SAP S/4Hana platform that delivers measurable value
• Ensure that platform capabilities meet evolving business needs while maintaining a lean-core and maximizing use of native capabilities.
• Shape and maintain the delivery model across squads—embedding Agile practices, aligning roadmaps, and promoting outcome-focused delivery.
• Make informed decisions about investments, enhancements, and changes, with a focus on maximizing user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and data integrity.
• Manage the overall platform budget

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Product Team

• Develop a team of Product Owners fostering ownership, accountability and a shared commitment to platform success
• Empower Product Owners to shape and prioritize their backlogs with confidence while ensuring cross-squad consistency and integrated delivery.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, learning, and transparency across the portfolio squads and with the Finance and Procurement functions
• Support Product Owner growth and development through informal and formal feedback as part of BCG's performance management process

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Continuous Improvement

• Act as the connector across Finance and IT ensuring business goals, technical delivery and user needs are consistently aligned
• Lead the functional framing of initiatives, clarifying scope and value in partnership with stakeholders and technology teams.
• Use data and feedback to evaluate platform performance, support business case development, and inform future priorities.
• Balance long-term strategic goals with the realities of day-to-day operations.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading a product team or managing platforms within a Finance, ERP or SAP environment
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes and how they are enabled through an ERP system, preferably SAP
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 12 years relevant experience in a global finance function
• Experience coaching and developing a high performing team
• A customer-focused, data-informed mindset to decision-making
• Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in consulting or professional services is a plus

• Internal clients including functional Business Process Owners
• Product Portfolio Lead who will be your line manager and set the vision, roadmap, budget, priorities and OKRs for the Portfolio
• Chapter Leads and Technical Lead for technical solutioning and delivery
• Agile Coaches, with whom you will share passion for Agile ways of working
• Other Product Leads within BCG, to share best practices and ensure alignment between squads and culture
