We are a leading, forward-thinking law firm based in Bandra West, committed to leveraging technology to optimize our legal and administrative operations. We are undertaking a significant digital transformation initiative focused on our core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including SAP implementation and ongoing task management. We are seeking a dynamic professional to serve as a hybrid Scrum Master and Project Manager to drive these critical technology projects.
Job Summary
The Scrum Master & Project Manager will be the driving force behind the successful task management of all works and projects on Zoho Projects. The role requires a strong understanding of both technical ERP landscapes and the unique operational requirements of a professional services environment like a law firm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & ERP Execution
- Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of implementation, migration, and enhancement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders (Partners, IT, Finance, HR) to define scope, gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide transparent status updates.
- Resource & Risk Management: Track project progress, manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, and proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks and impediments related to the SAP/ERP environment.
- Zoho Projects Administration: Maintain and govern all project documentation, tasks, workflows, and reporting within Zoho Projects, ensuring data accuracy and providing key performance metrics (KPIs) and status reports to management.
2. Scrum Master & Agile Facilitation
- Agile Coaching: Coach and guide cross-functional teams (internal IT, business analysts, external vendors) on Scrum principles and Agile best practices to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Ceremony Facilitation: Plan, facilitate, and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Impediment Removal: Act as a servant leader to remove internal and external roadblocks, protecting the development team from distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals and high-value delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the team to higher levels of Scrum maturity, promoting a culture of inspection, adaptation, and continuous process improvement within the Law Firm's technology ecosystem.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a combined Project Manager and Scrum Master role.
- Proven experience managing SAP or large-scale ERP implementation/upgrade projects is mandatory.
- Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using Zoho Projects for task management, project tracking, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Excellent knowledge of both Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management principles.
- Outstanding leadership, facilitation, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working in the Legal or Professional Services sector is a significant advantage.
