Software Development Engineer in Test

Role & responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
  • Work on functional, automation, and API testing.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira.
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve software quality.
  • Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • Strong understanding of manual and automation testing concepts.
  • Strong Knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress).
  • Understanding of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
