Role & responsibilities

Sales Profile Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions or product recommendations.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and the customer.

3. Sales Presentations & Negotiations

  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to close profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.

4. Achieving Sales Targets

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor personal performance metrics and sales KPIs.
  • Work with the team to achieve overall company revenue goals.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about competitors, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.
  • Suggest new opportunities for business growth.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

7. Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Share insights and best practices with colleagues.
