The Senior Consultant is a highly skilled technical expert with significant in-depth, hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying virtualization technology. The"Senior Consultant is an experienced subject matter expert on multiple compute and virtualization platforms and focuses on the development and delivery of value-added integration and consultative services"in"Enterprise solutions." The candidate should be well-versed in software-defined storage, virtualization, and networking and have experience with server hardware and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on Dell PowerFlex and virtualized infrastructure technologies and solutions.
- Design and implement Dell PowerFlex and virtualized infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform configuration and optimization of Dell PowerFlex and other hyper-converged infrastructure solutions, including software-defined storage, virtualization, and networking.
- Maintain technical credibility within the data center industry and the field through demonstration of thought leadership.
- Conduct assessments of client environments to identify areas of improvement and potential issues.
- Assist in creating project plans and timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and internal staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to virtualized and hyper-converged infrastructure.
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Ensure technical designs are documented appropriately and shared with project teams and clients as needed.
- Conduct design reviews and obtain approval from project stakeholders as necessary.
- Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Ensure successful implementation and configuration of virtualized infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure project documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to project teams and clients as needed.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Possess a positive attitude and feel comfortable working within a cross-function organization, including the account team, technical architects, project managers, and client stakeholders.

Skills Required- 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting and configuring Data Center solutions, including solutions for transformational IT initiatives such as future data centers, virtualization, cloud, infrastructure-as-a-service, and IT-as-a-service.
- VMware Certified Professional in Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification will be an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- VMware vCenter, vSphere, and vSAN design, deployment, and monitoring experience required.
- VMware vCenter and ESXi host upgrade experience required.
- VMware vSphere replication and migration experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies:
- Zerto Replication and Migration experience highly desirable.
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vRealize Suite (specifically vROps and vRLI), VMware Site Recovery Manager, and VMware NSX are highly desirable.
- VMC (VMware on AWS), Azure VMware Solution (AVS), and HCX arehighly desirable.
- Blade computing platforms such as HP C-Series, Cisco UCS, and Dell PowerEdge.
- Converged andHyperconvergedofferings such as Nutanix, PowerFlex/VxFlex, VxBlock, VxRail, and CiscoHyperflex.
- Possess a broad base of technical skills, business acumen, and a strong desire to support the client.
- Strong understanding of software-defined storage, virtualization, and networking.
- Understand the detail behind the implemented solution andhave the ability tocommunicate the high-level vision with the client.
- Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the client, third parties, and the project teams.
- Encompass strong listening and interpersonal skills, an ability to solve complex problems, a big-picture mentality, and an aptitude to visualize the solution.
- Able to foster teamwork among the delivery team.
- Proficiency in hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments.
- Analytical ability.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Proven troubleshooting & problem-solving ability.
- Integration of Hypervisor technologies with storage, network, compute, backup, and cloud platforms.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidates relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
