  1. Basic SEO Knowledge

* Understanding of On-Page SEO (title tags, meta description, header tags, URL structure, keyword placement).

* Knowledge of Off-Page SEO (link building basics, guest posting, directory submissions).

* Familiarity with Technical SEO basics (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, sitemaps).

  1. Keyword Research

* Ability to use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or SEMrush for keyword research.

* Understanding of keyword intent for D2C products.

  1. Content Optimization

* Knowledge of optimizing blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages.

* Ability to suggest keyword-rich content ideas.

  1. Analytics & Reporting

* Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

* Ability to track keyword rankings and prepare weekly SEO performance reports.

  1. Competitor Research

* Ability to analyze competitor websites and identify backlink and keyword opportunities.

  1. Tools Familiarity

* Google Keyword Planner, Search Console, Analytics.

* Knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest (basic level).

  1. D2C-Specific Understanding

* Awareness of product-driven SEO strategies.

* Optimizing product pages for conversions.

* Focus on driving organic traffic that leads to sales.

  1. Soft Skills

* Good communication & reporting skills.

* Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.

* Basic understanding of e-commerce & digital marketing concepts.

  1. Other Requirements

* Ability to work with the content & design team for SEO alignment.

* Must be disciplined in task management & deadline-oriented.
