Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Kolkata for an Article Assistant. The role involves assisting in audits, accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting research on tax laws and regulations, and supporting advisory engagements. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and collaboration with senior team members to deliver exceptional client services.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with tax compliance, GST, and income tax laws.
  • Proficiency in auditing procedures and documentation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and client communication.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools such as Tally, MS Excel, and other relevant platforms.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail for data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage time effectively.
  • Enrollment in CA/CMA articleship is required. A bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance is preferred.
