YOUR IMPACT:

Delivering accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting support, ensuring adherence to India GST law. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights into tax implications and support audits and statutory filings. Driving process improvements and leveraging automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

  • Good exposure to Indian tax laws and regulations, particularly GST laws in India.
  • Good presentation, listening, and execution skills
  • Strong technical skills with effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Exposure to handling tax compliances and audit

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Qualified chartered accountants with 2 to 4 years of experience preferably from a Big4 firm
  • Exposure to Willingness to learn corporate tax and provide support in related compliances and audit
  • Hands-on experience in India GST compliance, including filings, reconciliations and audit
  • Ensuring timely filing of the GST returns and payment of taxes
  • Peruse and understand the notices issued by tax authorities, collate the necessary data/information, and support the audit process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate information required for compliance and audits
  • Liaise with external consultants for audits, assessments, and other compliance-related activities on need basis
  • Preparation of submission and representations before tax authorities
  • Drive standardization of tax processes including preparation of SoPs, process flow, work instructions, and ensuring audit preparedness
