Role:

Design and deliver integrated public affairs and reputation programs across South India with emphasis on Tamil Nadu. Anchor a social first approach that drives message design, content systems, and distribution. Build platform native storytelling, creator and community partnerships, and a real time newsroom that integrates social listening, trend mapping, and rapid content production. Ensure that insights from social channels inform PR, events, and stakeholder engagement at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:


• Social first strategy and execution. Shape platform native storytelling across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn. Orchestrate creator and community partnerships, real time content lines, and a weekly newsroom cadence. Plan and deliver tent poles and always on strands that ladder to a single minded platform idea.


• Social listening and community management. Use enterprise social listening tools to monitor conversations, pull weekly dashboards, tag and classify mentions, surface actionable insights, and implement existing playbooks. Manage comments and community interactions and escalate issues through defined standard operating procedures.


• Strategic campaign design. Build an insight led platform idea with a clear ladder from core narrative to tent pole moments to always on strands and measurement.


• Creative leadership. Write inspiring creative briefs. Run structured ideation with PR, digital, research, and creative partners. Protect the idea through execution and ensure narrative consistency across channels.


• Agency leadership. Draft clear scopes and briefs. Set performance metrics. Run a weekly newsroom cadence. Align earned, owned, and paid and maintain quality and delivery service levels.


• Trade body and chamber partnerships. Identify, negotiate, and execute programs. Structure memoranda of understanding, co-branded initiatives, and outcome linked calendars.


• Think tank and academia outreach. Convene roundtables and expert dialogues. Commission short policy notes and insight papers and translate them into campaign actions.


• Leadership interface. Prepare concise briefs, talking points, op eds, and event run of show. Manage sensitive stakeholder interactions with discretion.


• Creative quality assurance. Oversee concept to production to distribution. Maintain tone, craft, visual consistency, and message pull through.


• Measurement and governance. Track and report against defined social and PR metrics including share of voice, message pull through, partner activation, and platform analytics. Conduct monthly impact reviews. Uphold legal, regulatory, and data protection norms.

Qualifications and Experience:

Five to eight years of relevant work in campaign design, partnerships, or external stakeholder programs, drawn from backgrounds such as brand or communications planning; creative or connections strategy; industry associations or chambers; think tanks; corporate affairs; or issue advocacy.

Preferred Professional Backgrounds:


• Brand or communications planning or strategy leadership from an integrated or creative agency, with authorship of platform ideas and social first storytelling.


• Creative or connections strategist from digital or integrated firms, designing idea systems across channels with hands on social content architecture.


• Social strategy or audience development lead from content platforms or newsrooms, with creator and community programs and experience using social listening tools such as Sprinklr, Meltwater, Talkwalker, or Brandwatch.


• Issue advocacy program design with outcome tracked reputation or behavior campaigns that used platform native content and community partnerships.


• Corporate affairs with an in house creative strategy function originating campaigns with agencies and active ownership of social content calendars and partnerships.
