Role & responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Set up and operate VMC machines as per the job order.
  • Load program (G-code) and perform dry runs and tool offsets.
  • Change tools and set tool lengths using height setters.
  • Inspect finished components using precision instruments.
  • Maintain machine logbook and inspection records.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the VMC.
  • Troubleshoot minor machining errors and coordinate with programmers.
  • Follow 5S, safety, and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with QC and design teams for corrections and improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • VMC operation (FANUC / Siemens / Mitsubishi).
  • Ability to handle mould inserts, die plates, precision parts.
  • Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC program structure.
  • Understanding of tooling, fixtures, and clamping methods.
  • Proficiency in measurement and inspection tools.
  • Basic knowledge of CAM software is a plus.
  • Teamwork, responsibility, and safety awareness.
