Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various technical disciplines, including electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and maintain equipment while ensuring optimal functionality across our facilities. The Technician will play a crucial role in supporting operations and enhancing overall efficiency.

Duties

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Carry out facilities maintenance, including electrical work and mechanical repairs.
  • Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain facility aesthetics.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide leadership during maintenance operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Skills

  • Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters.
  • Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Residential painting skills are a plus for maintaining facility appearance.
  • Supervising experience to lead teams effectively during projects.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
