Teqfocus - Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

Role :

We are looking for a self-motivated Sr. Salesforce QA Engineer with experience in Service Cloud and Post-Sales Systems to join our Agile development team. As a Sr. Salesforce QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications and integrations. You will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, develop test strategies, and execute comprehensive test plans. Your expertise in Service Cloud and integrations will be critical in identifying and addressing any functional or performance issues. What Youll Do :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for Salesforce applications and integrations.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce functionalities, including Service Cloud and integration points.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications and integrations.

- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement preventive measures to avoid similar issues in the future.

- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to validate and verify business processes and user workflows.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and integration testing.

- Experience with test automation and Scripting Languages such as Shell, Python is preferred.

- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to provide guidance and recommendations for process improvement.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to Salesforce applications

and integrations.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex

information effectively and efficiently.

- Maintain a flexible and proactive work attitude to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals

successfully.

What Youll Bring :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years of experience on Salesforce platform Quality Assurance testing including Service

Cloud, Sales Cloud and API integrations.

- Experience working in SaaS industry.

- Detail-oriented and have an in-depth understanding of industry standards of Quality Assurance, version control (CI\CD) and testing standards.

- Experience in CI and CD tools like Github, bitbucket, Jenkins, ANT and automation testing.

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, development and customization.

- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce

applications and integrations.

- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.

- Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and SDLC best practices.

- Prior experience with post-Sales business applications a plus (i. TalkDesk, Gainsight).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and potential

risks.

- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development team and adapt to changing project

requirements.

- Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) preferred.

- ISTQB optional.
