Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Rajkot.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing diesel-powered vehicles within our network.
  • This role is vital to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, contributing directly to our educational institution's operational needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of diesel vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Overhaul engines and brakes following detailed protocols to restore them to full functionality.
  • Perform routine greasing and lubrication of vehicle components to prevent wear and damage.
  • Execute precise wheel alignments for all vehicles to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire wear.
  • Coordinate with the transport management team to schedule maintenance without disrupting transport services.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety norms and regulatory requirements pertaining to vehicle maintenance and emissions

Qualification

  • ITI Diesel mechanic/Motor maintenance / Well experience in same profile
