Overview: The Customer Support Computer Hardware & Network Engineer plays a critical role in our organization, providing technical support to customers for computer hardware and network-related issues. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and timely resolution to their technical issues, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and retention.Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support for computer hardware and network issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and network problems
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components and network devices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and track customer issues and resolutions
  • Proactively identify recurring technical issues and recommend solutions
  • Assist in testing new hardware and network products
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customers
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in customer support or technical support roles
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting and configuration
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and macOS
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA are a plus
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
