V&V Test Engineer

GIGA Labs is part of V&V  based out in Bangalore . We are part of Global Labs in Schneider network   with  various accreditations like NABL, UL, CB, ASTA …. We have more than 70+ Engineers working on various technologies in Electrical , Mechanical, Electronics , Digital, Prototyping  , Environmental on multiple product categories.

This person would work with cross functional team , global labs and marketing  on upcoming technologies and new innovations in Schneider Electric . This position gives exposure to experiment & explore some , develop new ideas both in electrical and data science field .

You would be responsible for the verification , validation and certification of new project . You would be planning , monitoring, estimating , and control of activities in lab & external labs  . At the outset of the project, you in collaboration with the other stakeholders, devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans. You would also be working with other labs across globe on various strategies. You would have the opportunity to work on Data science , Agile , ISO17025,  six sigma .You would directly report to lab Manager and would be based out in Bangalore .

Key requirements

Understanding of IEC 61439 and IEC 60947 series of standards.Experience in handling & managing global projects with global stakeholders for smart productsRich Experience in preparing V&V plan Independently handle/carry out testing as per national and international standards.Plan and conduct test along with evaluating test results.Ensure all testing activities for the project are performed conforming to the standard requirements.Identifies and manages issues that arises in testing.Manages complex projects and leads project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.Maintaining the test Laboratory with National level Accreditation Quality management system procedure in accordance with NABL 17025 Quality system.Documenting test Results and procedures and preparation of test report Can carry out RCA in  case of failureStrong in Conformity assessment of products  Able to read/write and interpret test program structures, test parameters and test program debugging. Involve in data collection for product characterization (for new product/package/process changes) & production lot on hold disposition

Educational Qualification

Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering Exp 3+ yearsUnderstanding of processes  in ISO/IEC 17025 : 2017Previous work experience as a Test EngineerGood problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
