Job Description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters

Between 5-12 years of IT experience

Must have - Software development & maintenance using SDLC & AGILE methodology - Experienced in doing Technical design (program level) - Experienced on ISeries platform using CLLE, RPGLE, DB2/400, SQL - Worked on programming using SQL RPG and Free format RPG - Worked on tools - JIRA, RDI (coding), RTC & ARCAD (software change control), Jenkins, HP Quality Centre, GSD - Worked on programming using MQ - Strong Analytical skills - Self starter, take ownership and flexible - Able to work under tight deadline and do multi tasking - Team player - Good in interpersonal and communication skills Prefer to have - Worked on Restful API development using IWS on ISeries platform - Worked on test automation tools (RPGunit, Xframework, TOSCA etc) - Worked on programming using Connect Direct or SFTP - Worked on Banking application

1. Status Reporting and Customer Focus on an ongoing basis with respect to project and its execution

2. Capturing all the requirements and clarifications from the client for better quality work

3. Taking feedback on the regular basis to ensure smooth and on time delivery
4. Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
5. Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
6. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
7. Documenting very necessary details and reports in a formal way for proper understanding of software from client proposal to implementation
8. Ensure good quality of interaction with customer w.r.t. e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette etc
9. Timely Response to customer requests and no instances of complaints either internally or externally
