Position Overview
As a Management Trainee in Concept Development for the Jewelry industry, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the ideation, research, and creation of innovative jewelry collections. This role is designed to groom you into a future leader by providing hands-on experience in conceptual design, market trend analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will contribute to translating creative visions into market-ready designs while ensuring alignment with the brands identity and consumer demands.

Key Responsibilities
Concept Development & Design:

• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop unique jewelry concepts.
• Assist in creating mood boards, design inspirations, and sketches for new collections.
• Conduct research on materials, gemstones, and innovative techniques to inform design ideas.
• Support the creation of prototypes in collaboration with production teams.

Market Research & Trend Analysis

• Monitor global fashion and jewelry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
• Analyze competitors' offerings and consumer preferences to provide insights for concept development.
• Assist in curating seasonal themes that resonate with target demographics.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with marketing, production, and sales teams to align designs with commercial objectives.
• Provide creative input during design meetings and contribute to presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication with artisans and vendors to ensure design intent is met.

Learning & Development

• Participate in training programs focused on jewelry design, materials science, and business strategies.
• Shadow senior team members to understand the end-to-end jewelry development process.
• Regularly report progress and insights to supervisors for feedback and guidance.

Qualifications Required

• Master's Degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Business, or related fields from IIM.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, or CAD software) is a plus.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple.

Exprience
Prior experience or internship in jewelry design, fashion, or product development is advantageous but not mandatory.
