Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled 
Chemical Engineer
 to join our consulting team in Mumbai. This role involves 
on-site visits
, 
process audits
, and 
collaborative work with manufacturers
 to optimize operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 
    site assessments and audits
     at client manufacturing units
  • Identify 
    process bottlenecks
    , inefficiencies, and improvement areas
  • Assist in 
    plant setup
     advisory, equipment sourcing, and commissioning
  • Collect and analyze 
    technical and production data
  • Support 
    compliance, documentation
    , and audit-readiness efforts
  • Work closely with PeakRise leadership to deliver high-value consulting solutions
  • Provide 
    technical recommendations
     on chemical formulations, scaling, and sustainability initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in 
    Chemical Engineering
  • 0–4 years of experience in 
    chemical manufacturing / process engineering
  • Knowledge of emulsifiers, esters, surfactants, or pharma intermediates is preferred
  • Comfortable with 
    travel and site-based assignments
     (within Maharashtra and occasionally outside)
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Experience with 
    safety, compliance, and ISO/GMP audits
     is a plus
