QA Engineer – Mobile Apps (Android/iOS):

We're looking for a QA Engineer to ensure seamless, high-quality experiences across our Android & iOS apps.

What You'll Do:

  • End-to-end functional testing of mobile apps & backend APIs (happy paths, edge cases, regression).
  • Test planning & execution from PRDs, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Bug reporting & triage (Jira) with clear logs, steps, and priorities.
  • Release readiness: smoke/sanity checks, build validations, and Play Store/App Store signoffs.
  • Data validation using SQL, Postman, Charles Proxy.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, test coverage, and mentor juniors.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 1+ year of hands-on manual testing (Android/iOS).
  • Strong grasp of SDLC/STLC, Agile, regression, smoke & sanity testing.
  • Experience with TestRail (or similar) + Jira.
  • Familiarity with ADB, device/emulator setups, logcat debugging.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX flows, crashes, ANRs, push notifications, deep links.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, Cypress).
  • Analytics validation (Firebase, Adjust, Rudder Stack).
  • Experience with live streaming, fintech, or social apps.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months):

  • Reduce production defects by 30%
  • Faster bug reproduction (cut from 1 day → 4 hours)
  • Own QA for a key product vertical.
