Role Overview
:

We are seeking a seasoned Staff of Senior Staff SDET to lead the design and implementation of robust test automation frameworks for IoT devices. This role demands deep technical expertise in system level components, strategic thinking, and leadership in quality assurance practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks tailored for IoT and embedded systems.
• Define comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans aligned with product goals.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets performance and reliability standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues in Linux-based environments.
• Drive continuous integration and testing practices to support agile development cycles.

Requirements
:

• 8–15 years of hands-on experience in software automation within the embedded systems or automative domain or in IOT Domain.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other programming languages used in automation.
• Proven experience in designing E2E automation strategies for IoT devices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and debugging tools.

Desired Skills
:

• Prior experience in IoT or automotive domains is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD, exploratory testing).
• Innovative mindset with the ability to design creative automation solutions.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior QA engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
