Key Responsibilities1. Front Desk & Patient Management
- Greet patients and visitors in a calm, respectful, and empathetic manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient details in the hospital system.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists.
- Guide patients to waiting areas and coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow.
- Manage patient enquiries in person, via phone, and via email.
2. Documentation & Record Handling
- Maintain patient files, consent forms, and registration documents.
- Ensure accurate documentation as per hospital policy.
- Handle confidential psychiatric records with professional discretion.
- Assist in preparing daily reports, appointment lists, and billing-related documentation.
3. Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers regarding appointments, follow-ups, and patient needs.
- Inform patients about waiting times, delays, or required documents.
- Coordinate with pharmacy, billing, admissions, and emergency services when required.
4. Billing & Administrative Tasks
- Generate bills, collect payments, and issue receipts.
- Manage insurance-related documents if applicable.
- Maintain the front office inventory, stationery, and appointment registers.
- Perform general administrative duties such as scanning, printing, filing, and maintaining logs.
5. Patient Support & Safety
- Respond calmly to distressed or anxious patients; call clinical support when needed.
- Ensure safe and comfortable waiting-room environment.
- Be aware of safety protocols for dealing with psychiatric emergencies
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹12, ₹20,000.00 per month
