1. Position Overview

The institution invites applications for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor in the above-mentioned departments. The candidates are expected to contribute to academic excellence through teaching, research, student mentoring, administrative responsibilities, and curriculum development.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures at UG and PG levels according to the curriculum.
• Develop innovative teaching methodologies and ensure outcome-based education.
• Supervise dissertations, internships, projects, and clinical/field training where applicable.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, evaluation criteria, and academic records.
• Conduct practical sessions, laboratory work, studio work, moot courts, clinical postings, or fieldwork as required by the department.

B. Research & Publications

• Engage in high-quality research and publish in reputed national/international journals.
• Guide PhD/PG students (where applicable).
• Undertake funded research projects, collaborations, and consultancy activities.
• Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.

C. Administrative & Institutional Development

• Contribute to departmental activities, academic committees, accreditation work (NAAC/NBA), and university processes.
• Participate in curriculum development, syllabus revision, and academic planning.
• Support student activities, mentoring programs, and career guidance.
• Assist in admissions, departmental promotions, and institutional outreach.

D. Department-Specific Expectations

(as applicable to the subject area)

• Pharmacy, MLT, OTT, Nursing, Physiotherapy: Practical skill training, laboratory management, clinical coordination.
• Law: Conduct moot courts, case analysis, legal drafting, and legal aid clinic activities.
• Hotel Management / Travel & Tourism: Practical training, industry linkage, hospitality labs.
• Forensic Science: Crime scene simulation, lab analysis, instrumentation handling.
• Psychology: Counseling training, supervised practicum; one Associate Professor must possess an M.Phil. from an RCI-approved institute.

3. Eligibility Criteria

A. For Professor (As per UGC/PCI/NMC/RCI/NCH/Other statutory norms)

• PhD in the relevant discipline (mandatory, unless governed by specific professional council norms).
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 3 years as an Associate Professor.
• Strong research profile with publications in reputed journals and evidence of scholarly contributions.
• Experience in guiding PhD scholars (where applicable).

B. For Associate Professor

• PhD in the relevant field (as per regulatory norms).
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• Evidence of quality research publications and academic contributions.
• For Psychology: At least one Associate Professor must have an M.Phil. from an RCI-approved institute.

C. Additional Requirements (Applicable to All Departments)
