AI Engineer- Computer Vision

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our internal product development team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems that enable machines to interpret and understand visual information from the industrial world.

The Industrial Computer Vision team addresses hard, novel challenges that arise in product development. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you'll bring your knowledge and proven machine learning expertise to develop cutting edge solutions that improve our products and help our customers. Qualified candidates are deeply analytical with a keen understanding of the intersection of Machine Vision and Software Engineering. You shall have the ability, inclination, and experience to conduct research that solves practical problems. They have the communication skills to work closely with both research colleagues and customers.

You Have

• A strong background in computer vision, deep learning, and software development, along with a passion for solving complex problems and pushing the boundaries of what machines can see and understand.
• Independently and effectively engage within the internal product developers, external customers, and subject matter experts to understand and solve critical technical challenges through the application of cutting-edge Machine vision technology
• Conduct research and create models for commercial and industrial applications in health and safety e.g. based on computer vision
• Your role will involve researching the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, prototyping new ideas, and deploying scalable solutions into production environments.
• Work with team on propose new projects or initiatives that will yield business benefits and evaluate project plans and proposals
• Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing computer vision models; integrating vision systems into real-time applications.
• You will also be expected to evaluate model performance, conduct error analysis, and continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of vision systems.

You'll Have

• Experience in the range of 2+ years. The ideal candidate will have a Engineering or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on computer vision or machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python.
• Experience in Deep Learning algorithms, experience with GPU programming
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure are highly desirable.
• Preferably experience in YOLO object detection algorithm or similar Convolutional Neural Network algorithms
• Strong written and verbal communications, ability to translate complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience is preferred in cutting-edge technologies that have real-world impact across industries such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, robotics, and augmented reality.
