Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Quality Engineer at BRASSLAND, you'll ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You'll work with our manufacturing team to fix quality issues, set up quality control processes, and push for ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain product quality by conducting inspections, tests, and audits at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspection results, and documentation of quality procedures.
  • Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components meets our standards.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulations, as well as company-specific quality policies.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to manufacturing personnel on quality procedures and best practices to improve awareness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and control manufacturing processes for consistency and reliability.
  • Reporting: Generate regular quality reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with precision machining processes.
