Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Security (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 Security (Defender suite, Purview, Identity Protection, DLP, Conditional Access).
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native security controls (Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall, WAF, etc.).
  • Strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure and M365 security solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security posture reviews for cloud workloads.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents in Azure Sentinel / Defender environments.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps/CloudOps teams to ensure secure deployment and operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and remediation support for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  • Document security architecture, processes, and risk reports for stakeholders.

Good to Have

  • Experience with multi-cloud security (AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security (AKS).
  • Certifications: AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer), SC-200, SC-300, CISSP-Cloud, CCSP.
  • Experience in security automation using PowerShell, Python, or Logic Apps.
