Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot)

About the Role

Spirehub Softwares Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and excellent English communication skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing scalable backend applications, leading development tasks, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Build RESTful APIs, integrate external systems, and optimize application performance.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Document technical specifications and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration.
  • Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum).

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
