What will you do:

  • Manage accounting journal entries, tracking all business transactions for our e-commerce business, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting for online sales, payment gateways, returns, and refunds.
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and readily available.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Participate in monthly/yearly closing activities.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance projects related to e-commerce operations.

What are we looking for?

  • 1+ years' experience as a Junior Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail business.
  • Experience with basic accounting and financial practices.
  • Familiarity with payment gateway reconciliation and marketplace accounting – preferable (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong team player skills with close attention to detail.
  • Good analytical, numerical, and presentational skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
