We are seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer to design, develop, and maintain big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in distributed computing, data processing frameworks, and performance optimization, ensuring scalable and reliable data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data processing pipelines using Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig).
  • Develop and optimize ETL workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
  • Work with Spark, Hive, and HBase for advanced analytics and storage.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to deliver big data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Perform performance tuning and job optimization for Hadoop applications.
  • Integrate Hadoop with data lakes, streaming platforms (Kafka), and cloud services.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig).
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala/Python.
  • Knowledge of HBase, Oozie, and Sqoop.
  • Familiarity with data lake architectures, HDFS, and YARN.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, GCP Dataproc).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
