ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong command of Python syntax and data structures

  • Lists, sets, tuples, dictionaries, comprehensions

  • String and date manipulations

  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

  • Classes, inheritance, encapsulation, decorators

  • Exception handling and error management

  • Robust logging, graceful failure, retry patterns

  • File I/O and OS interaction

  • Reading/writing files, working with CSV, JSON, XML, PDFs

Good to have

AWS SDK (boto3) – to interact with:

  • S3 (store/retrieve files and reports)
  • Lambda (deploy and run code)
  • SQS (queue handling and DLQ retries)
  • SNS or EventBridge (triggers, notifications)
  • Secrets Manager (secure credentials)

CloudWatch – for logs and metrics

Basic understanding of IAM permissions and policies
