Senior Software Engineer

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Research, design, and implement application software/Measurement IP/components for test systems, which are used to validate RF, MEMS, and mixed-signal blocks such as PMIC, data converters (ADC/DAC), PMIC, voltage regulators (LDOs and Switchers) etc.
• Ownership of system and/or features of the system. Lead system/features from definition through release.
• Collaborate with global R&D teams on feature dependencies, customer escalations, etc.
• Design/Develop IP/features for re-usability across systems/future opportunities. Follow software development processes and best practices for design/development.
• Seek feedback on the system/features from Offering Managers, Offering Architect, Application Engineers, etc. and implement.
• Provide technical leadership. Facilitate technical decisions. Contribute to design and code reviews.
• Lead critical issues and customer escalations to effective resolution.
• Identify and recommend improvements to benefit long-term product quality and development efficiency.
• Lead/drive initiatives to advance the skills/competency of the team.
• Lead/mentor junior engineers/technicians in the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of experience in application/system design & development preferably focused on Test and Measurement.
• Hands-on design, development and debugging skills in LabVIEW/Python/C#/C
• Experience developing ATE and applications for semiconductor validation and production test using NI hardware, drivers, and application software such as TestStand, LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with Test and Measurement of semiconductor devices/components such as DC, power, ADC, RF IC, audio, MEMS, or digital semiconductors.
• Familiarity with Silicon validation concepts, post-Silicon validation environment, and test writing/debug.
• Experience in using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, RF Instruments, Protocol Analyzers, Mid-bus Probes, Logic Analyzers, JTAG based Debuggers, etc.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in Test & Measurement industry using NI/Third-party hardware, drivers, and application software such as TestStand and LabVIEW.
