Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate safety training programs for employees to increase awareness and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, analyze root causes, and develop preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance safety standards.
  • Prepare reports for management on key safety performance indicators and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Lead emergency response drills and ensure readiness to handle crisis situations effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related queries and provide guidance to employees at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
  • Proven track record of driving a safety culture and reducing incidents in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Experience
QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10-12 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry with a focus on safety management.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
