Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement function for our FMCG operations. The role will focus on strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost control, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect items in alignment with production and business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:


• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods (CAPEX, MRO, services).


• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers; negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing.


• Build long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and value.

Cost & Spend Optimization:


• Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, volume leverage, and supplier negotiations.


• Monitor market trends and raw material price movements to manage procurement risks and cost escalations.

Operational Procurement:


• Ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules without stockouts or overstocking.


• Collaborate with planning, production, and quality teams for demand forecasting and procurement planning.


• Monitor supplier performance (quality, on-time delivery, compliance) and initiate corrective actions where necessary.

Compliance & Documentation:


• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.


• Maintain accurate records including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations.

System & Reporting:


• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for procurement planning, PO management, and inventory tracking.


• Generate procurement reports (spend analysis, vendor performance, lead times) for management review.
