Role Overview
We are seeking a
Sports Business Development Executive
who can understand our existing business operations — including sports venues, academies, and events — and work strategically to develop and expand them.
This role requires a blend of
sports passion and business acumen
, with strong communication, networking, and project execution skills. The candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building partnerships, and supporting operations that drive the company's revenue and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and evaluate existing Smashtress business verticals (venues, academies, events).
- Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships with schools, corporates, and institutions.
- Develop and execute business plans to expand venue usage, enrollments, and event participation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and local partners.
- Assist in planning and promoting sports events, leagues, and academy programs.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day management at venues.
- Track and report business performance, providing insights and strategies for improvement.
- Support in digital promotions and marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in
Sports Management, Business Administration, or Marketing
). - 1–3 years of experience in
business development, sales, or operations
, preferably in the sports or events sector. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the sports ecosystem, including academies, turf venues, and grassroots programs.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and take ownership of projects.
- Passionate about sports, with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
