DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the automation, scalability and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure and data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in CI/CD, serverless architectures, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, autoscaling, observability platforms and modern data warehouse solutions such as Google BigQuery. Experience with leading DevOps tools and platforms, including GitHub, GitHub Actions and Bitbucket is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD & DevOps Platforms

• Design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines and others.
• Ensure seamless integration between version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket) and CI/CD workflows.
• Promote DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Cloud Infrastructure & Serverless

• Architect, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, ensuring high availability, security and cost-eSiciency.
• Build and support serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or similar technologies.
• Implement and manage autoscaling strategies for cloud-native applications.
• Containerization & Orchestration
• Manage and optimize containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration, scaling and automated deployments.

Observability & Monitoring

• Integrate and operate observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) for monitoring, alerting and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the DevOps toolchain and cloud infrastructure.

Data Warehouse & Analytics

• Design, deploy and optimize cloud-based data warehouses, with a focus on Google BigQuery.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data reliability, accessibility and performance.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on emerging DevOps and data engineering trends, tools and best practices.
• Drive automation, eSiciency and reliability across all infrastructure and data workflows.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines etc.).
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (GKE, EKS or AKS) and containerization (Docker).
• Deep knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms, including deployment, networking and security best practices.
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash or similar).
• Experience with autoscaling and load balancing in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Git workflows, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Bitbucket integration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms like Google BigQuery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies.
• Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps or DevSecOps.
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows in data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery ML).
• Experience with AI-driven CI/CD and GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Jenkins X, Codefresh).
