Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies across complex projects and product lines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and automation suites for web, mobile, and backend applications.
  • Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex software defects in collaboration with development and product teams.
  • Define quality benchmarks and ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices across the team.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers; provide code and test case reviews, coaching, and technical leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Own the test lifecycle and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and release readiness assessments.
  • Represent QA in sprint planning, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring testability and quality from the ground up.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven experience with test planning, automation, and managing end-to-end quality for complex applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across engineering and business teams.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or TestNG.
  • Experience with performance, security, and API testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Skilled in using issue tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Demonstrated experience in agile environments and working closely with cross-functional teams.
