About Quantique Minds

Quantique Minds is a Bengaluru-based AI consultancy founded by Fortune 500 alumni, on a bold mission to digitally transform 10,000 Indian enterprises by 2030. We specialize in revenue-first solutions that deliver measurable impact from Day 1, combining deep expertise in AI, digital transformation, and custom software development. Our team brings over 100 years of combined experience across BFSI, product engineering, and global business strategy. At Quantique Minds, speed of execution, customer success, and sustainable growth are core to everything we do.

As part of our Engineering team, you'll work alongside passionate developers, product strategists, and designers who thrive on crafting scalable, high-quality solutions that power our customers' success.

About the Role

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who will architect, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems that drive our SaaS products. You'll ensure that our applications are highly available, secure, and scalable, while constantly optimizing performance, automation, and developer productivity.

This role is a blend of operations engineering, automation craftsmanship, and systems design thinking — perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems and making deployment pipelines faster, smarter, and safer.

Key Responsibilities1. Infrastructure Automation & Cloud Management

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Manage environments across staging, production, and sandbox setups.
  • Continuously optimize costs, performance, and reliability of cloud systems.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Ownership

  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for multiple SaaS products using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Integrate testing, code analysis, and deployment workflows to ensure zero-downtime releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to automate deployment and rollback mechanisms.

3. Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

  • Set up end-to-end monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog.
  • Manage centralized logging through ELK, Graylog, or CloudWatch.
  • Track uptime, latency, and incident metrics — ensuring SLA compliance and rapid response to issues

4. Security & Compliance

  • Implement security best practices in cloud architecture, identity management, and networking.
  • Manage firewalls, SSL, IAM policies, secret management, and VPC configurations.
  • Conduct infrastructure vulnerability assessments and coordinate with the security team for patching.

5. Automation & tooling

  • Create scripts and tools to automate routine DevOps and sysadmin tasks.
  • Maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Streamline build, deployment, and rollback processes through smart automation and versioning strategies.

6. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Document processes, architecture, and incident reports for transparency and continuity.
  • Participate in sprint planning, release reviews, and infrastructure retrospectives.

Key RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineer, ideally in a SaaS or Cloud-native company..

Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • CI/CD: Expertise in tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • IaC: Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Containers: Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
  • Scripting: Ability to write automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Monitoring: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or ELK stack.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git, GitOps, and branching strategies.
  • Networking: Knowledge of DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and reverse proxies.

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with microservices, service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio or Linkerd).
  • Experience in serverless deployments (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Exposure to FinOps (cloud cost optimization) and observability engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of security hardening, compliance (ISO/SOC), or incident response.

Soft Skills & Attributes

  • Ability to work independently with deep attention to detail with a structured approach.
  • Systematic thinker with an automation-first mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across engineering teams.
  • Calm and analytical during production incidents or outages.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance speed and stability in a fast-paced release environment.
