Role Description

This is a freelance/ contract based role for a Fiori UI5 Developer. The Fiori UI5 Developer will be responsible for

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.
  • Build and deploy UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE and SAP BAS
  • Develop modern user interfaces using SAPUI5 and Fiori guidelines.
  • Integrate front-end UI5 applications with SAP backend services (OData, Gateway).
  • Collaborate with on shore technical lead to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP development standards.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies if working under Agile methodology.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience of SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Experience with SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) for developing and deploying UI5 applications.
  • Proficient in developing OData services and integrating them with UI5 applications.
  • Good understanding of SAP Fiori architecture and launchpad configuration.
  • Working knowledge of Git, version control, and deployment best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
