• reparing, reviewing, and approving of transmission line tower & foundation design including associated documents and accessories

• reparing engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design.

• esigning as per relevant codes and standards

• ptimizing the overall weight of the tower and foundation with respect to tender quantity
  P
• erforming Sag tension calculation and providing the approximate weight of the tower at the tender stage
  D
• esigning of transmission tower, with the use of PLS Tower software for transmission line design.

• reate all associated Engineering Design calculations and documentation.
  S
• upport the creation of all necessary material bill of quantity schedules.

• ttend site meetings (virtual) and provide ongoing design drawing changes / support as required during project build.

• eviewing designs produced by suppliers and clients to ensure designs are technically compliant and in line with current legislation and policies.

roject Coordination:

ctively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects.

lient Focus:
R

esponsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on moderately complex projects and may determine the key clients in some instances
C

ommunicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work on moderately complex projects

• roven experience in the design of UK Overhead Line Circuits (Towers and/or Poles) at any voltage up to 400kV.

• achelor's in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering

• nowledge of all applicable engineering standards.

• he ability to design with PLS- CADD, Tower or similar.
