About the Role

The Foundation School is looking for a Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth daily operation and

maintenance of our campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean,

and efficient learning environment, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors,

and managing housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff. Prior experience in a school

environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise day-to-day facility operations including housekeeping, plumbing and electrical

maintenance.

 Ensure cleanliness and functionality across classrooms, corridors, toilets, outdoor areas

and surrounding areas.

 Ensure availability of water at all times.

 Manage infrastructure upkeep — lights, fans, doors, windows, furniture, and other fixtures.

 Ensure proper and timely repair of all building and facilities problems

 Oversee building systems such as lift, STP, UPS, and DG set; coordinate repairs with

vendors.

 Plan and execute preventive maintenance, especially during holidays.

 Ensure timely waste disposal and maintain high hygiene standards.

 Maintain records of inspections, statutory compliances, and asset management.

 Manage vendor contracts, negotiate for best prices, and maintain a network of reliable

service providers.

 Communicate promptly with management and ensure all work is completed diligently.

Qualifications & Skills

 Education: Any graduation.

 Experience: 1–3 years in facilities or maintenance management (school experience

preferred).

 Strong skills in housekeeping supervision, vendor management, and preventive

maintenance.

 Excellent communication and coordination skills.

 Must be fluent in Kannada, Hindi, and English.

 Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
