About the Role:

We at Winjit Technologies are seeking an experienced QA with hands-on expertise in building a UPI switch for banking applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development, API integrations, payment systems, and financial transaction processing.

We are looking for a skilled QA with 5-7 years of experience in testing Banking and PSP (Payment Service Provider) applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in functional testing, performance testing of mobile apps and APIs, and test management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the testing efforts for Banking and PSP applications, ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Perform performance testing of mobile applications and APIs using tools JMeter.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.
  • Analyze logs, crashes, and performance issues to improve system efficiency.
  • Document test results, defects, and recommendations in test management tools Azure DevOps or Mantis.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

5-7 years of experience in software testing, preferably in banking or fintech applications.

Strong experience in Performance Testing (Mobile Apps & APIs) using tools like JMeter.

Expertise in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

Good understanding of database testing (SQL/NoSQL).

Experience working with test management tools (Azure DevOps).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage test strategies and execution for multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Experience in fintech/banking/payment service domains is highly preferred.
