Who we are looking for:

ACV Auctions is looking for an exceptional Quality Analyst II to build and manage a testing framework to ensure consistent data capture across web and mobile devices. In this role you will actively participate in test strategy, development, execution, and application troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate possesses an inquisitive mindset with experience in developing and executing tests for web, native Android and native iOS apps.

What you will do:

• Define test requirements, test strategies, and test designs.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual tests.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure stakeholders understand the risk associated with various testing approaches.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Work with the development team to test and release software following agile methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• 3 to 5 years of experiencing acting in a quality analyst role at a fast-paced agile organization
• Ability to write and execute functional, integration, end to end, regression and acceptance test scenarios; Familiarity with standards compliance and general principles of usability.
• Have worked as an integral member of the development team collaborating with product, engineering, and other business units by testing and releasing software following agile methods.
• Gifted at exploratory testing and has the awareness to write up the more meaningful test cases from that process.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, extreme organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Familiarity with screen capture and other recording solutions to document steps to troubleshoot and reproduce issues identified during testing.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and test management tools such as Xray for Jira.
• Awareness of test automation, allowing you to partner with Quality Engineers to automate repetitive tasks.
