Surgery Coder Job Description:

  • Review surgery medical records and assign accurate ICD 10-CM and CPT codes of diagnosis and procedures
  • Should have coding experience on endoscopy , Colonoscopy and EGD/ERCP
  • Thorough understanding and application of medical necessity, APC for processing charts.

Surgery Auditor Job Description:

  • Performing thorough audits and providing feedback to coders on a daily basis.
  • Should have coding experience on endoscopy , Colonoscopy and EGD/ERCP
  • Thorough understanding and application of medical necessity, APC for processing charts.
  • Querying physicians regarding incomplete documentation.
