Embedded Software Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Software Design & Development:

· Design and develop embedded software for projects using Microchip PIC and dsPIC controllers.

· Interpret and input project datasheets and technical specifications.

· Create and maintain flowcharts and algorithm structures for projects.

· Develop and debug embedded software using Embedded C.

· Conduct software type testing and ensure functionality as per design requirements.

· Documentation & Version Control:

· Prepare and maintain documentation including Flowcharts, Source code with comments, Type test documents, Version updates, HEX file uploads, Change Log, and RFC records.

· Ensure proper version control, traceability, and release management of all firmware.

· Coordination & Reporting

· Coordinate with R&D team members for design, testing, and debugging activities.

· Report daily progress to HOD / Team Leader.

· Track and report QMS (Quality Management System) performance.

· Suggest process improvements and report opportunities for enhancement to the Managing Director (MD).

Required Technical Skills

· Strong knowledge of Embedded C programming.

. Basic fundamental of Electrical & Electronics / PADS / ORCAD

· Experience with Microchip PIC and dsPIC microcontrollers.

· Familiarity with MPLAB IDE / MPLAB X / XC8 / XC16 compilers.

· Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus, CAN, etc.).

· Understanding of hardware interfaces and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.

· Version control practices (software versioning, change logs, backup systems).

· Experience in testing and validation of embedded software.

Education : Graduate or Dip Engineer in Electronics

Additional Training in Embedded Systems Designing

1 -2Years in similar activity

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Willing to travel for field work if required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200, ₹500,000.00 per year
