Tablet Press Technician

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tablet Press Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and the assembly and disassembly of tablet press machinery, including turret dies, punches, motors, and all associated components. This role also involves training and coaching other team members to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues related to tablet press operations promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on tablet presses to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Assembly and Disassembly: Efficiently assemble and disassemble tablet press components, including turret dies, punches, and motors, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams regarding the operation and maintenance of tablet press machinery.
• Training and Coaching: Develop and deliver training sessions for new and existing employees on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation, including maintenance logs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to implement improvements and modifications to enhance equipment efficiency and performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
